Sheniz Janmohamed
Sheniz Janmohamed is a freelance writer, poet and spoken word artist. She holds a BA (Honours) in English and Religion (University of Toronto) and an MFA in Creative Writing (Univeristy of Guelph). She has written for a variety of publications including Anokhi, CityMasala, South Asian Living, Fusia, DesiVibe and Good News Toronto. She has participated in the Strong Words Reading Series, The Mini Shebang Tour and Majlis Arts’ Figure of Speech series, to name a few. Her first book of sufi-inspired poetry, Bleeding Light (TSAR), was published in 2010.
